I had a best friend
Her favorite color was green
And mine was yellow.
We bought dresses to match

Through a Child's Eyes
Day by day,
Night by night,
The same world
Never leaves my sight.
Yet there is so much more,
More to see than what-

There are doors
Left unexplored,
Foods left untasted,
Friendships not yet created.
