Through a Child's Eyes

Day by day,
Night by night,
The same world
Never leaves my sight.

Yet there is so much more,
More to see than what-
What there is in front of me.

There are hills
And mountains and trees
I haven't yet climbed.
There are skies of stars
I haven't yet seen.
There are doors
Left unexplored,
Foods left untasted,
Friendships not yet created.

Every day someone dies
Who has not yet seen the world
